Daria Callow
My name is Daria, and I offer elementary tutoring for students in grades K–6 throughout the Lowcountry, serving Bluffton, Hilton Head, and Beaufort.
843Tutoring began as a vision to truly be able to differentiate instruction to meet each student’s individual needs—a vision that took shape during my time teaching in the classroom.
At 843Tutoring, learning is both productive and engaging. Each session is intentionally designed around student interests to build intrinsic motivation while strengthening academic skills. My goal is to provide focused, uninterrupted instruction that helps students feel confident, capable, and excited about learning.
I am a graduate of the College of Charleston, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. After graduating, I taught third grade for several years in both Charleston and Berkeley County. I have since returned to the Lowcountry, where I grew up and where my own educational journey began, having attended Hilton Head Christian Academy from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
I love the art of teaching and feel incredibly grateful to bring the 843Tutoring vision to the community that shaped me. I would be honored to partner with your family in supporting your child’s growth and success.

During my elementary years, I received tutoring support for reading comprehension. As I grew and developed as a reader, reading became something I truly enjoyed, and I began to excel in the subject. This experience played a meaningful role in shaping my academic confidence and ultimately influenced my path in education. During college, I focused much of my coursework and field experience on reading instruction, and I now hold a literacy teacher endorsement on my teaching certificate. Because of my own journey, I deeply understand the impact personalized support can have on a student’s growth. Connecting with students through personal experience is incredibly important, and this is one of the experiences that continues to guide my work as an educator.
